Trauma-Informed Schools Meeting: Seeing our world through a caring, trauma-informed lens

September 19 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The ACEs Action Alliance Trauma-Informed Schools meeting is an opportunity for representatives from any school or district in Clark County, WA,  to meet and share challenges, resources, tips, programs and opportunities that can help school administrators, educators and staff proceed successfully on a trauma-informed pathway. To allow for networking and confidential conversation, participants should work in/with schools or for agencies with beneficial outreach to schools including advocates, foundations, and volunteers.

Our theme for the 2019-20 school year is: Clark County Cares.  At our September meeting, Mindy Davis, clinical supervisor for child and family counseling at Childrens’ Home Society, will discuss seeing our children through a trauma-informed lens. Tom Adams, Director of Special Services at Battle Ground Public Schools, will discuss the trauma-informed training provided to school bus drivers this summer. Please join us.

Please note that this group usually meets on the second Thursdays of the month. To have your name added to the mailing list, please drop an email to Jan.Dolph@clark.wa.gov.
