Community Conversation Book Discussion

June 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

no cost

All are welcome at this Community Conversation Book Discussion of the book “Becoming Ms. Burton”. Our discussion will explore topics of childhood trauma, poverty and racism and the adoption of risky behaviors. We will focus on how our community can support people following incarceration to help them re-unite with their families, gain employment and successfully re-enter society. A limited number of books are available for check-out or loan at the Cascade Park branch of the Fort Vancouver Library District. A copy of the discussion questions and notes from the book are available here: Notes & Questions on Becoming Ms Burton
